What I did today
Today was a heavy sales today. I actually got so busy that selling work that I was thinking about canceling some of that work. I didn’t know how I was going to do it, and I’m still not exactly sure how I’m going to do it.
So, I’m just going to keep my head down and keep working.
Most exciting, I think I might have landed a huge project!! It’s about $15K of work for the month. It’s going to kill me from an hours perspective, but I think it’s worth it.
I finished a project today, I think, for a weird contract that offered me $500 without a conversation first. I’m not sure what to expect from him and what he’ll think looking at the results. But we’ll see.
I also wrote some more today. I wrote a piece about how to effectively launch a product that hopefully be helpful for fellow entrepreneurs!
What I made today
Job: $128
UpWork: $450
KDP: $2.09
Catalant: $0
Interview Coaching: $175
Medium: <$0.05
Total: $755
Today’s pro-rated amount of monthly expenses
Expenses: $212
Today’s Income
Made: $532
This was a great day today from an income perspective, but I’m dangerously approaching too many clients. If I do that, and my reviews start dropping, then I could be in trouble quickly.
My plan for tomorrow
Tomorrow is going to be a busy work day. I’m getting up at 4am to get work done before work, and have a couple calls scheduled after work.
Busy, busy, busy!

Dean’s goal is to create $1,000/day in passive income through entrepreneurship. Too many people write “success porn” that skates over the struggles many face in entrepreneurship
The reason he writes brief posts here every day on Medium is to share his progress and his struggles. You get the unvarnished truth: what worked, what didn’t, and how much farther is there to go.
The hope is that this series of posts will inspire someone else out there to make their entrepreneurship dreams happen.
