For some days on this case study, I’m up until 1am to crank on some work because I have a ton to do and clients who are breathing down my neck.

Other days, like weekend days, I don’t crank nearly as much.

Yesterday was one of those days. My fiancee and I spent a bunch of time together during the day, which was a blast. We also got in a significant number of steps as well.

But, I didn’t get a lot of work done.

It actually has me feeling a little unsettled. Not in an “I’m going crazy because I’m not working and it’s driving me nuts” kind of way, although that certainly has happened.

Rather, it was unsettled in a quarantine-crazy kind of way. I’m getting tired of quarantine.

I think the reason why, and the whole reason to get to $10K/day, is freedom. At $10K a day, my family and I can do whatever we want to do. Reaching that level of “fuck you money” is the only way I know to be in a position where we can do whatever we want.

Obviously that freedom matters a lot to me. I write a daily case study about that. I write my goals down every morning, and they all include that objective of freedom.

Not having that freedom during a quarantine is a pain! I’m okay with it, because it just makes sense to stay at home for health reasons.

But I miss that freedom of being able to go outside.

This makes me realize even more how much the $10K/day freedom matters to me.

$10K/day at 30. Over 1,600 days to reach that goal.

What I did yesterday to make $10K a day at 30

The current phase of the plan

I’m in Phase #1:  The Job & Side Hustle Phase.  You can read more about the phases and my plan to get to $10K/a day at 30 here.

Wake up & sleep:

I slept 7 hours and 51 minutes, waking up at 8:21 and going to bed at 11:49.

My Whoop says I am horribly recovered, only 31%. I went for it in my workout yesterday, which makes me realize that led to a crappy night’s sleep and recovery.

Lesson: it’s better to have consistent days of a workout that’s a “6” out of 10 instead of one day a week that’s a “10” out of 10.

Otherwise, I sleep like shit and fuck my productivity for the next day.

Exercise

No workout today (see above), but I did get some steps in around the apartment.

Diet

Diet was standard Sunday quarantine. I had pancakes and bacon for breakfast, and ramen for dinner.

3/10 diet for non-quarantined, 7/10 diet for quarantine.

My Day Job

Nothing at all.

Still made some rental income.

$10K/day website

I spent ~30 minutes to publish yesterday’s post, which was  about the only thing I did here

Family

Lots of fiancee time. We had a couple of fun conversations and had a good time.

Miscellaneous

Nothing to note here

Rescue Time Daily Screenshot

I invested in Rescue Time, to help me understand where I’m spending my time vs. not, but really for the purposes of the case study.

It’s pretty clear to see that my productivity (that big  47) falls off a cliff on weekends!
