I’m tired as hell and I don’t know why.
On one hand, I’m no longer in an office all day. I’m saving an hour in commuting time. It now takes me 30 seconds to walk from my bed to the couch and I don’t have to pretend to work while in the office.
On the other, COVID is still a thing and I’m probably vitamin D deficient.
I also have a lot of different projects going on. I feel distracted and jumpy. I’m unable to sit down and focus/concentrate because I’m getting pulled in a million different ways.
Hell, I wrote sentences more than a half-hour ago. Mid writing that, I got a notification that a potential client needed a proposal. You can’t really mess around there…if a client wants pricing info and more detail, you need to reach out ASAP so they sign the $8,000 dollar contract they asked for more detail on.
The side effect though is I’m super fragmented. My daily list of to-do’s has five or six things on it right now and they are all half-done things. Nothing completely was done, but lots of half-done things.
I think that’s what I’m tired.
$10K a day is about the journey to making $10K a day in passive income. I’ve learned a lot over the 100+ days thus far I’ve done this case study, but a big one thus far: In order to have the funds to buy real estate, dividend stocks, and other passive-income generating entities, you need to grind in a decidedly non-passive manner to get there.
What I did yesterday to make $10K a day at 30
The current phase of the plan
I’m in Phase #1: The Job & Side Hustle Phase. You can read more about the phases and my plan to get to $10K/a day at 30 here.
Wake up & sleep:
I woke up at 7:19am after going to bed at 11:08, for a total amount of sleep of 7 hours and 31 minutes.
My recovery was shitty though, with total recovery being 57%. More on that below in the exercise section
Day strain was at 17.7 out of 21, which I think might be the highest strain score I’ve ever had. It also is striking, because I didn’t actually exercise yesterday. I did probably 100 pushups and that’s about it.
So, my body is facing extreme amounts of strain, but I’m not actually working out.
The only take away I can take from this is that I’m extremely stressed. I can feel it: I’m jumpy and all over the place, I’m not able to focus, and I feel overwhelmed.
With that in mind, I realize that my case study is missing something. I’m missing a transparent gauge to the world about my stress levels. So, debuting below is an overview on my stress levels.
I’m at a 1/5, with 1 being the highest.
I feel jumpy and stressed, and my strain score acknowledges that as well. I’m jittery, unable to focus, and just don’t feel good in general.
I have a bunch of projects left. I need to finish up with all of these projects and take a break. At the same time, I need to do things to better about my day-to-day. I need to meditate. I’m about to download Simple Habit and start doing that to be better about my day.
Diet was coffee, and some curry. 3/5 with 1 being the best.
My Day Job
A few calls, but nothing crazy. More just random emails during the day that distracted me and make me bounce around between things.

My Actual Business

I did roughly 30 minutes on this
Emailed back and forth, and a lot of Excel work.
We had a meeting to review and it seemed like the client was pretty happy and excited about it/the direction I’m taking the model in

My fiancee and I watched Bachelor together.
Again the majority of my day. We’re moving, and might need a car as a result, so I spent the day on the phone with movers, real estate agents, and more.
Huge pain in the ass because my phone is constantly ringing.
