Things are busy, but fun.

I’m actually having a lot of fun with how busy things are. I think it’s a really fun time across all of my businesses and work right now.

I have my day two, one consulting project that is full time, and I think I sold that project from Friday that will be another full-time project. Throw in real estate time as a quarter of a full-time job right now and I’m up to 3.25 full-time jobs.

How fun is that??

And while I’m having fun with this now while I’m in my mid-20’s, I know energy levels will eventually deplete and I won’t have fun with this anymore.

With that in mind, it’s time to start looking forward.

I have my plans to start and grow my own business in 2021. I’ll probably spend the better part of three years building that into a multi-million dollar a year business and then automating/hiring myself out of a job.

Then, I’ll be bored. So, I’ll want to start acquiring businesses.

With that in mind, I’m starting to sign up for different business for sale listings to start understanding what is for sale on the market.

I won’t buy anything for a few years.

But, better to get started looking now than later, right?

Yesterday there were 1,542 days until I turn 30 and need to make $10K a day passively. Here’s how I spent it in pursuit of that goal

The current phase of the plan

I’m in Phase #3:  The Business Phase.  You can read more about the phases and my plan to get to $10K/a day at 30 here.

I still consult, and  I still have a job. I’m looking forward to removing both of those ASAP.

Wake up & sleep:

I got a total of 7 hours and 19 minutes of sleep but broken up in 4 different chunks because of the baby. Overall, that amount of sleep was definitely a positive because I ended with a recovery score of 47%.

Not too bad for a young baby at home!

Exercise

I took an hour-long Peloton class to help get the juices flowing from a strength perspective. Overall, wasn’t too bad at all and was pretty exciting to have a good workout like that. Keep it going.

Stress levels

Weekend so nothing

Diet

Diet was coffee, and then noodles and a protein shake. Not bad, pretty vegan.

Dean Woods

Dean Woods

Dean’s goal is to create $10,000/day in passive income through entrepreneurship. Too many people write “success porn” that skates over the struggles many face in entrepreneurship. His goal is to create something real that highlights the lack of sleep, disappointment from family, and setbacks you really face in entrepreneurship. The hope is that $10K a day swill inspire someone else out there to make their entrepreneurship dreams happen. Dean Woods is side hustling and working a full time job to kickstart his entrepreneurial path. Prior to this life, Dean was a management consultant. Dean graduated with honors from The Wharton School.
