What I did today
So today has been a really great day actually. It’s been busy, don’t get me wrong! I’ve also yet to accomplish some of the very basic things I wanted to get done today.
For example, I made essentially zero progress on my affiliate site. That’s not exactly what I want to see, especially because I’ve invested a fair amount of money into it!
But, a couple of things did go really well today.
First, it was a productive day selling things. I sold two projects today and am close to selling a third. Total, I sold $17,500 in work today. If the third project sells, I’ll be at $27,500 in sales today!
Of course, selling doesn’t mean much! I need to actually do the work in order to get paid for it!
Secondly, I had a very interesting Medium day! One of my articles, about how you shouldn’t have paid marketing until you’re at $100M in revenue, unexpectedly blew up! It had a couple of thousand people read it today, which hasn’t happened before.
I’m quite excited about this. I use Medium to randomly share my thoughts about startups, productivity, business, and life, so I’m excited that those thoughts hopefully add value to people’s lives.
I wrote another article today that I hope adds value from a productivity standpoint. This article is about how to improve your productivity.
What I made today
Interview Coaching: $0
Today’s pro-rated amount of monthly expenses
So today was actually a negative day! I’m okay with that though because I’m expecting some of these Catalant projects to end up being substantial income.
My plan for tomorrow
Tomorrow should be more of the same! I intended to use this week to work on passive income sources, like my new affiliate site and writing more ebooks.
But, it looks like I’ve sold some work so I need to get cranking along!
I’d love to write one Medium piece tomorrow and one piece for my affiliate site. That would feel like a productive day to me!
