What I did today
Well, today is an exciting day. It’s now the 30th day in a row that I’ve written this case study, which is exciting.
Overall, there have been some highs and lows.
On the high side, I have had a few days that have had a nice income. On the low side, I’ve had some negative days.
Most excitingly, another writer on Medium was inspired by this case study and created his own! That’s really the whole point of this case study. I wish I had something like this years ago when I first got started. The whole goal is to hopefully inspire other people to take the step and launch a business.
What has held you back from taking the leap? For most people, it’s fear. After all, taking the leap is scary. It’s terrifying to try to do something difficult and outside the conventional norms.
But, it’s also rewarding. You live and die by your decisions. If you decide to sit on the couch all day, then you pay the price. If you decide to always keep prospecting for clients, then they pay your price.
The real question is: how do you want to live your life? And, is what is holding you back really that scary?
What I made today
Job: $190
UpWork: $67.50
KDP: $0
Catalant: $700
Interview Coaching: $0
Medium: $10
Total: $957.50
Today’s pro-rated amount of monthly expenses

My plan for tomorrow
Tomorrow should be simple: I have a Catalant project to finish up and another one to get started on.
Busy, busy busy!
I’m very curious to see how seasonality is going to factor into things. I’m worried there might be a dip in how much work gets sold so I’d love to get as much work as possible locked in for the next month or two!
