What I did today

A similar day in that today is driven largely by existing clients. This is fun because the projects I’m working on now for these guys are interesting and are high ticket projects.

The downside, however, is that it’s getting late out and I still have a ton more work to do. That’s okay, but I’d love to continue to find scalable things to do!

For that reason, I spent more time today working on websites and real estate! There is a real estate deal under contract that is fantastic. There are a couple more steps, like attorney review, to close this deal. That being said, things are looking good and this deal should be super profitable for us.

I’d love to scale this up to more real estate and more units ASAP. The way $10K/day at 30 works is through real estate. I can barely handle four consulting projects a month. To get to $10K/day, I’d need to do 40 projects a month!

More real estate is the answer!

What I’m thinking about today

I’m thinking about a quote from John D Rockefeller. He is dramatically under-studied as a business leader and a thought leader. He told everyone when he was a kid that he would grow up to be the richest man in the world. He achieved this.

Who does that?

I think Rockefeller is a great role model, for that reason.

It’s partially why I’ve been writing my goals down every day for a decade. It helps keep me focused.

But, there’s a Rockfeller quote that’s been on my mind a bunch today: he who works all day has to time to make money.

As you can see below, I made good money today. However, this manual process of making money does have me feeling like I’m giving up the opportunity to make great money and retire with those I love.

How I’m Feeling Today

It’s worth pausing. I just wrote a lot of nonsense about how my income streams aren’t automated. That’s because I’m a perfectionist and want things working before they’re ready.

It’s worth pointing out:

  • I’m in my 20’s
  • I’ve found the love of my life and she’s my everything
  • I have a six figure day job
  • I have a six figure side hustle
  • I own investment real estate
  • I’m buying more investment real estate

Overall, life is pretty good.
