What I did today
Today was a website day!
I spent a lot of time looking into how best to grow my websites. In other words, I pumped out a lot of content. Content really is king when it comes to building a website, so I wrote. A lot!
I’ve done the math and I think I need to publish around 3,000 words a day on my affiliate sites in order to get 20 sites to ~$5,000 a month. That alone will give me $100K in monthly income.
It will also take about five years to get to that point!
What I’m thinking about today
I’ve outsourced a lot of content creation over the past six weeks and I love doing that. It saves me a ton of time, which is especially useful when I have a consulting client that takes up a lot of my time.
However, I don’t have a lot of those clients right now. In fact, I actually don’t have any.
So, I’m thinking about how I need to continue to pump out content on my own. I need to write and publish at least 3,000 words a day for the next five years.
Then, I can retire having reached my goal of $10K/day at 30.
So, it sounds like I need to publish this case study update and then go back to writing.
