What I did today
My head is really hot again. It happens when I’m over-caffeinated and on not enough sleep. It happened earlier in the week and it’s happening again now too.
I’m not really sure where today started and ended. Today “started” at 12:01 and I was still working. Bedtime ended up being around 2am as I wrapped up some work for a client. I was up again at 7 and working again.
I felt pretty good today though, despite all of that. I enjoyed working with the clients I had today and felt like it was a productive day.
But man, this has definitely not been an example for good health or an example on how to attack the day. I’ve told people for years to go to bed early, wake up early, and make going to the gym a priority. I haven’t done any of that for a few days.
So, I’m conflicted. I made progress today, but it certainly wasn’t sustainable progress in any way shape or form.
So, shit.
We need to get things going in the right direction, and in a more sustainable way. My girlfriend said she wants me to succeed without killing myself in the process from overwork.
I agree, but I don’t know how to take the pedal off the gas. I need to support my family.
What I made today
Job: $128
UpWork: $301.68
KDP: $0
One-off consulting: $360 Amex card
Coaching: $0
Medium: <$0.05
Total: $789
Today’s pro-rated amount of monthly expenses
Expenses: $212
Today’s Income
Wooo progress!! Today was $577 and one of my best days yet.
It was also an incredibly unsustainable day. Of that $577, less than 0.01% of that was “passive” either.
My plan for tomorrow
Tomorrow should be a big day. I have a readout with a client that hopefully will lead to a couple thousand dollars of work. Let’s hope that happens…please.
This is absolutely not sustainable. My guess tomorrow will swing to the other side of the spectrum and be way less profitable, but probably less headaches and face pain.
So…let’s balance that? Does anyone know how?

The hope is that this series of posts will inspire someone else out there to make their entrepreneurship dreams happen.
