What I did today
Well today’s highlight was obviously The Bachelor finale. Man….Barb is CRAZY.
But on a work note, I’ve been working on a few different things.
The main story of the day is real estate. There was a potential deal that might be snaked from us where another bidder came in higher and the seller went with them.
That’s obviously annoying, because if the seller had come back. to us, we would have matched or beat the other offer. It’s a lesson. that you can’t. expect people to behave rationally. We offered a lower price to save money, but we lost the deal over it. Lesson learned: we’ll go in bigger next time.
The other thing I’ve been working on is Kindle. I published a new book and it’s going well, so that’s exciting! I’m seeing increases in income for Kindle as a result. Would love to keep that going.
The final thing is websites. My first website is starting to show sign of success. It’s getting ~10 organic visitors a day now, which is amazing. If it stays on this trajectory and keeps growing, then we are in a great spot!
What I’m thinking about today
I’m thinking about Corona Virus.
Regardless of how concerned you are, (based on the expert’s opinion, the answer should be: very), it’s without a doubt that the virus is having a material impact on business and how things are done.
For that reason, I think it’s important to highlight that I have no clue on where my consulting business will go. Just looking at the numbers, I haven’t had a consulting project sell in more than a week. For that reason, things are tighter. Income is negative on most days.
So, will this be the start of a bad few months? If yes, will I have enough to get through the bad few months?
Maybe. I don’t know for sure.
What I made today
