What I did today
I’m a bit worried about money if I’m being totally honest.
My big project that paid $700/day is now over. My income is dangerous because it can wildly swing up and down.
So, sometimes people reach out about this case study and think I’m mentally doing great. They think I’m buying Rolex’s and fast cars like you see Instagram influencers do.
That’s actually not true at all. I worry about my income.
The downside risk is actually quite strong. If you look at my expenses, I have a fair amount I need to pay each day. If my income declines, then I’m in a world of hurt very quickly. I think I have about two months of salary saved.
If I lose my job, Catalant, or another income stream, then I’m in trouble.
So, I worry about income. As a result, I spent a fair amount of time today working to land more clients.
I landed one client for whom I’m doing a lot of work for very quickly. It’s been an interesting project to help them make a big corporate decision.
But, it’s temporary and could be gone in a second. So, let’s hope things proceed well here on the rest of the selling!
What I made today
Job: $190
UpWork: $0
KDP: $0
Catalant: $2,274
Interview Coaching: $0
Medium: $5
Affiliate site #1: $0
Total: $2,469
Today’s pro-rated amount of monthly expenses
Expenses: $375
Today’s Income
Made: $2,094
This number is slightly inflated because some of that Catalant income was earned during the weekend.
My plan for tomorrow
Tomorrow will be to do some more work for that Catalant client and try to sell more! That Catalant client will be gone in a second!
